Godly Women of the Bible is a series of canvas portraits by Sonday Dre for The God Body Brand, painted in the black-and-white tradition of the Old Masters and touched with a single accent of cobalt and lapis blue. Every figure is portrayed as a Black man or woman, and each canvas holds one woman of Scripture at the moment her faith was tested and proved true. Read their stories below, and let them speak.
